All in a Day's work

Have you ever wondered what I do all day? That where on earth do I find time to blog all day while trying to live like a mortal. You don't? Neither. But just in case you are really interested in knowing what I do all day, here you go.

All in a Day's work of the Quirky Princess

6.13am Stare at ceiling and waited for my alarm to go off
6.15am Bloody alarm finally go off and I proceed to kiss my bolster.
7.30am Leave home for work. Sing loudly and laugh hysterically to the jokes cracked by the radio DJs in the car to up my energy level.
8.00am Reach school and try to buy a cup of milo from 7/11 but never did because they always run out of the paper cups or I can find the the whole bloody school in the 5x3 m outlet.
8.30am I am supposed to start class but my students stroll into the class to apologise why they are late
8.45am I finally get to start the class. Ok, read the problem and discuss in a group.
9.10am Class discussion which I am supposed to facilitate but end up talking too much, giving the students too much hints on the directions of their projects.
9.30am the 1st hour break that the class is entitled. Now, here come the challenge. While I am trying hard to do work or finally have the opportunity to logon MSN to talk to people of my age group, my students will swamp me with their problems. Love problems to be precise. Lecturer, I think I really like this girl ....... Teacher, what kind of guys you like? A, have you found the one already? Ms N, I give people the feeling that I am play boy but I am not leh....So I never really get any work done within this hour. Not that I am complaining, I am actually enjoying myself over this. Because at 18/19 how hard can your problems get? It is definitely easier to digest those than the kind my peers faced. I love these kids.
10.30am 2nd round of class discussions which generally entails whatever I feel like talking about. Love, or the lack of it, perceptions, personality, gender, anything really.
11.30am 2nd break which will last until 2pm. This is productive time! I generally grab a ham and cheese sandwich and a cup of milk tea from 7/11 which is still bloody crowded. Then I position myself in the quiet office and write about my observations about the class and issues. And this is also the time when I engage in serious MSN talk with my peers. So serious that you might have thought that I am working so hard for my money. On some days I am required to attend an hour of staff briefing .
2pm The teams' presentations start and I am not only busy paying attention to them but also busy typing their appraisals while at the same time trying to think of intelligent questions to ask and valid comments to make. This is technically the busiest moment in the entire day.
3.30pm Their presentations end, I will wrap up the day with a review and so theories throw in.
4.00pm My day officially ends with me saying I hope everyone enjoys the class today and I will see you guys next week.
Yes , we enjoyed it, you are still our favourite lecturer leh!

Kids just know how to make my day. No wonder I like younger men. They are in a way more attentive and are definitely sweet talkers.

Yes, this is what I do in a day. If I work. If not, I just waste time the whole day which is also equally fulfilling.

So what did you do today?
